Russell Family

Hi, I’m Sarah E. Russell, Esq.

At Grace Law PLLC, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized estate planning services to families and individuals in Warrenton and the surrounding Northern Virginia communities.

As a lifelong Virginian, I am proud to call Warrenton home, where my husband Nathaniel and I are raising our two wonderful daughters, Abby and Chloe. The heartbreaking loss of our precious son Ethan in 2021 taught me firsthand how vitally important it is to have your affairs in order and your loved ones protected. Through it all, our Christian faith has been our anchor, reminding us of the boundless grace that carries us forward. These experiences have shaped my approach to law—not just as a profession, but as a way to support others in planning for the future with empathy and resilience. I founded Grace Law PLLC to extend that same sense of grace and peace to my clients, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

Professional Credentials

I served as Legislative Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Office of Legislative Affairs at IRS Headquarters in Washington, D.C., from 2007 to 2025, analyzing federal tax policy, legislative matters, and compliance issues critical to IRS administration and enforcement of the tax laws. During my tenure at the IRS, I also researched and prepared responses to countless inquiries from members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate on tax law interpretations, applications, guidance, and IRS practices, and received awards for providing outstanding service to Congress.
